---The final semester grades are now posted on WebGrade.

Merry Christmas!!
Semester Grade:
Just as soon as the exams, etc. have been graded and recorded, they will be uploaded into the WebGrade system. You can view your semester grade in the WebGrade. The overall grade posted there will be what is being turned into the registrar's office for the official grade for each section of this class. Once that is done, I will post an announcement here in the class Bulletin Board. Usually this work is completed within 24 hours after the exam.

Good morning.
NCICU signed a Student Select agreement with Microsoft last November. Student Select allows individual students at NCICU institutions to purchase certain Microsoft licenses at prices well below the cost of the academic retail boxed product. In addition, NCICU has just signed an addendum to the Student Select agreement that allows faculty and staff to purchase the same licenses at the same low costs!
The products are offered through our reseller which is TRC (Technology Resource Center) for the following prices:
Office 2003: $69.95
Office Pro 2003: $79.95
Office MacPro: $79.95
Windows XP Pro: $69.95Colleges can handle the sale of these products in two ways. Students can be directed to a special section of the TRC website
(https://www.shoptrc.com/students/ncicu) where they can place their orders themselves. A similar website for faculty is in the process of being set up (www.shoptrc.com/faculty/ncicu). Or the college can purchase a number of licenses and sell them on campus (i.e. through the bookstore). This is a great opportunity for students, faculty and staff to purchase these licenses at terrific prices. It also eliminates an institution's financial burden for student software.
If you have questions, please contact Matt Ryan with TRC (mattryan@gotrc.com or 800-517-2320 x231) or me.
Thanks,
Frances Dempsey

The course is being offered jointly between the Department of Religious Studies and the M. Christopher White School of Divinity. The undergraduate students will be signed up for Greek 495H Independent Study (CRN 10446) and the divinity school students will be signed up for DSGK401A (CRN 11217) .
The assignments between the undergraduate and masters students will be similar, except for one very important difference. Those enrolled under DSGK401 will be required to write and then present in class a research paper in addition to the regular requirements. For the details of requirements for both levels of students see Course Requirements in the Course Syllabus, which spells out the requirements in more details.
This Course Room is currently being developed in anticipation of the spring semester. So check back periodically for more details about various updated aspects of the course, especially to be found in the Schedule page.
Also helpful would be to complete the Online
Student Profile form before the first day of classes. This will help
me better understand the level of computer and internet skills among the
class members, as well as learn a little more about your background and
career aspirations. Five bonus points will be added to the Participationgrade,
if this online form is completed by the end of the second week of the semester.
