Welcome to the Study

This study of the life and ministry of the Apostle Paul is presented as an overview with the goal of introducing you to the basics of developing a rich understanding of this eary Christian leader whose writing comprise nearly half of the twenty seven documents found in the New Testament. The objective is to enable you to acquire foundational understanding in how to create for yourself a fuller comprension of the thinking of the apostle, in light of post-Enlightment approaches to the study of Saint Paul. Not only content understanding but study skills will be presented. The study guide is designed for serious Bible students with a desire to go deeper into scripture study. Contemporary and historical scholarly insights will be treated in summary fashion, but without overly technical language.

The Apostle Paul, Servant of Christ

Together we will explore three aspects of the life and ministry of the Apostle Paul:

I. The Apostle as an Individual

II. The Apostle as a Missionary

III. The Apostle as a Writer

Multiple studies will be presented under each of these categories. Who he was, how he came to Christ, the way he spread the Gospel to all peoples, his style of communicating to the churches -- these and many more topics will be treated.
