A selected passage from those since last major exam will be chosen for each student.
Translation, parsing, and exegesis questions based on the passage.

Student Opinion of Instruction

Beginning with the fall semester of 1997, Gardner-Webb University has utilized the Scantron system when allowing undergraduate students in both the DAY and GOAL programs to evaluate their courses and professors. As we approach the time for the Spring 2001 semester’s evaluations to be completed, the University is instituting an on-line evaluation process which should be more manageable, less invasive on class time, and provide quicker and more valuable feedback to all professors, both full-time and adjunct, in both programs. As always, complete anonymity will be provided for all students participating in this process.
Please encourage your students to complete the process in a timely manner. Students will be blocked from viewing their final grade in each course in which they have not completed an evaluation. The spring evaluation period will open on Monday, April 16th and remain open until Saturday, May 12th at noon. Students will be able to access the site at any time between those dates and complete evaluations for all of their courses. The evaluation form will be the same one that has been used for the past 3½ years.

Please ask students to follow these steps when completing the evaluation process:
    1.   Access this website: http://www.academics.gardner-webb.edu
    2.   Click on the button: For Students
    3.   Click on the link:   Evaluate My Courses
          (at this time the student will be prompted for personal ID and password)
    4.   Click on the button: View By Year and Term
    5.   When the current semester’s schedule appears, click on the course to be evaluated
           (Student will be prompted for ID and password again)
    6.   Click on the button: Student Opinion Form
    7.   Complete the evaluation and Submit the final result

One of the duties of citizenship that always hits at an inconvenient time is Jury Duty. That has been my fate Monday and Tuesday of this week. Today was spent sitting around the Cleveland County Courthouse doing absolutely nothing but waiting to be summoned into the Criminal Superior Court for possible jury duty. I escaped being called onto the pending criminal case which will probably go on through Friday, but have to report again Tuesday morning at 9:15 am in the Civil Superior Court for possible duty on that court during Tuesday. Hopefully Tuesday 5:00 pm will conclude that responsibility.
For the class assignment on Wednesday, we will work on the assignment for this week as outlined in the Schedule page. If the Jury Duty responsibility extends into Wednesday, look for a revised schedule in this Bulletin Board Wednesday evening.
